Lives and works in Beijing, China

Ruxin is a Beijing-based contemporary artist whose work bridges Eastern introspective philosophy and Western visual logic. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with advanced studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), she uses painting as a medium to connect the physical world with abstract consciousness. In her recent practice, including the series Sculpture and Geometry, she utilizes layered brushstrokes, structural planes, and geometric volume to explore the fluid boundary between the tangible and the intangible. Rather than offering definitive answers to life's contradictions, her work uses motifs like celestial bodies, pathways, and emotional structures to prompt inner dialogue, leaving the paintings open-ended for viewers to complete through their own experiences.
