Lives and works in Paris, France

Through a figurative approach, Adami's painting aims to highlight those who, invisible in our societies, are nonetheless very much present. These are individuals we see without truly looking at them. Drawing on art history, he uses established codes to represent his contemporary subjects.

Whether it’s genre scenes, portraits, or still lifes, the influence of Western painting plays an essential role in Adami's compositions. His canvases sometimes take the name of their models, as part of a process aimed at humanizing them. This painting, which can be seen as a documentary testimony, is a fiction created from scratch.
