Goyoung is a Seoul-based artist pursuing her M.F.A. at Ewha Womans University, with exhibitions across Seoul, Tokyo, and Delhi—including shows at Tang Contemporary Art and AWASE Gallery. Her practice captures subconscious, unnameable fragments of imagery—like a cloud resembling a puppy or a cracked sidewalk evoking skin—and arranges them on canvas like characters on a stage. Rather than presenting linear stories, Goyoung constructs vivid, open-ended scenes in a perpetual state of becoming, inviting viewers to navigate the ambiguous boundary between memory, illusion, and reality.
